CPA is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring the Miss Deaf Michigan Charity Poker Tournament in July. This is the third event we've sponsored this year and our parter EGM has been kind enough to add additional prizes to the prize pools. EGM will be donating one of it's Player Level Hold'em Poker Packages. CPA will be donating Gold Tickets to it's next $10,000 Tournament Of Champions.

CPA Goes on Spring Break

College Poker Association is going to the Casino Affiliate Programs Spring Break Conference June 8th - June 11th. We'll meeting with a number of different companies to find out how we can provide bigger and better prizes on our unique free poker module. Down there we'll also get a chance to meet up with our biggest partner EGM to further discuss the development of our College Poker Tour. Sweet.

Changes to CPA

$100 Daily Cash Tournament Changes

Starting on Memorial Day - Monday, May 28, 2007 - we are going to take the $100 Daily Prize Pool and spread the winnings across four tournaments throughout the entire day!!

Each tournament will pay $25.00 to the winner and also give everyone at the final table entries for our awesome Chance at a Million event! Please see the following link for the times, buy-ins, and payout schedule for the new format of our $100 A DAY Tournaments

Sponsored Tournaments

We are proud to announce three new Multi-Table tournaments sponsored by Konsole Kingz Urban Gamer Report. These three tournaments will give you a chance to play for Major League Baseball 2K7 for PS3 or Xbox360 and will be held on the next three Sundays, starting May 27, 2007. Registration will start at 6:00 P.M ET and close at 6:57 P.M ET. The tournament kicks off at 7:00 P.M ET.

The Daily Player Points

We are also pleased to announce a new Multi-Table tournament that we will be hosting every day at 10:00 P.M ET starting on Monday, May 28, 2007. This new tournament is called The Daily Gold Nugget. At this tournament you will have the ability to play for Player Points!

New Feature from College Poker Association:

We have a new Beta Chat Ignore Feature that has been released to the players. This allows you to add the nicknames of players you do not wish to see chat from. This feature can be located by selecting the My Accounts tab from the website. There you will see a 'Chat Management' Link.

Here is an example on how to use this new feature:
If you do not want to see chat from player 'Thomas' at the poker tables, simply put ‘Thomas’ in the Ignore field and select Submit. Then when you are at the same table as player ‘Thomas’ you will not see chat that is written by this player. Then if you feel you would like release the ignore feature for player 'Thomas', select the name and it will undo the ignore feature.
(Note: You must make sure that you are spelling the player's name correctly or it will not work. I.E - Thomas, not Tomas).

Please keep in mind that this feature is still in a beta phase and we are going to work on making this more “user” friendly in the near future.
